Work at national park will improve access for people with disability
Making WA’s Natural Spaces Accessible to Everyone
Element Construction is proud to have contributed to accessibility improvements at Yanchep National Park, delivering infrastructure that opens up Western Australia’s natural beauty to more visitors. Our work on the Yanchep wetlands walk trail included extending the existing boardwalk and upgrading the trail to a consistent standard, improving access for people with disability and their families. Working within a sensitive wetland environment required careful planning and execution—the kind of considered approach we bring to every project.
These upgrades form part of the WA Government’s Accessible Parks initiative, a $2 million investment in making our state’s national parks more inclusive. The project demonstrates what’s possible when skilled trades, thoughtful design, and a commitment to community come together. Projects like this matter because they create spaces where everyone can connect with the outdoors. That’s infrastructure worth building.
